Nexus

About Nexus

Nexus turns the conversation in a room into a live topic board on the big screen, and the board into a write-up people can take home. It is a Fordcastle portfolio company.

The best part of most events is the conversation, and it is the first thing to disappear. A panel ranges across a dozen ideas, the audience has questions nobody reaches, and by the next morning what the room actually talked about lives in a few people's notes.

Nexus listens to the room and maps it as it happens. What is said on stage becomes topics on the big screen. The audience joins from their phones by QR, with no app and no account, to vote, comment and put their own topics on the same map, and when the stage picks one of theirs up, everyone sees it. Afterwards the whole transcript is read into a write-up the organiser can hand out: what was discussed, where the time went, and what the room kept coming back to.

It is built for in-person rooms first, and works for hybrid and online panels too. It is private by default: room audio is never stored, the write-up follows the Chatham House Rule, and nobody in the audience is asked for an email.
